Ray Roberts, our director of Business and Product Development was elected at the recent Annual General Meeting of the British Fluid Power Association to the honorary post of President. Ray has been Vice President for the last two years and his new role is also for a two year period.

Ray has been over 40 years in the Fluid Power Industry where he has held several senior executive posts. Currently at Webtec he is also responsible for the company’s UK and USA business. His busy life includes being Vice Chairman of the National Fluid Power Centre Advisory Group and also a member of the Industrial Advisory Group of Bath University’s Centre for Power Transmission and Motion Control.

During his many years on the BFPA Executive Committee he was key player in 1988 of the formation of the British Fluid Power Distributor Association. He is a past Captain and ongoing committee member of the Fluid Power Golf Society. In the last few days he was a British delegate to the European CETOP General Assembly.
