Webtec Garden Party

Webtec held their annual Garden Party on Sunday 18th of September, at Churchill College in Cambridge. Over 80 people, including employees and their families, attended the event.

Along with the barbeque and bar, there was a magician on hand to confuse people with his tricks, a Jazz Band and the now famous ‘Webtec Olympics’. People were divided into teams to compete in a range of races including: the sack, wheelbarrow, space hopper, relay and football dribbling. The games were finished off with a tug of war!

There was a ‘Super Hero’ theme to this year’s games, so the captains of each team where given costumes to wear, including Captain America, Spiderman, Superman, Wonderwoman and Batman. The winners of the 2011 Webtec Olympics were Captain America and the Blue Team! The team were all presented with medals and, more importantly, the much coveted Webtec Olympics Trophy.

An enjoyable day was had by all and we look forward to next year!
